“Few days ago,
we had a Memorandum of Understanding signed between Spain Embassy, Mayor of La
Union city and Mehrangarh Museum Trust, according to which World Flamenco
Festival will be jointly organized, in which Rajasthani performers will also
showcase their talent. First phase of this international level festival will be
organized from 1 August to 5 August, 2013 in La Union city of Spain after which in March 2014, this will be
organized in Jodhpur .
Rajasthani performers; Langa Abdul Rashid, Langa Ikhlakh Khan, Langa Zaakir
Khan, Langa Saddeek Khan and Asha Sapera will give their culturally rich
Rajasthani folk performance in the first phase of the festival in Spain.”- Mr
